This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, process, and safeguard personal and academic data through our institutional Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) software and our online payment portal.

This policy complies with the Digital Personal Data Protection (DPDP) Act, 2023, the Information Technology Act, 2000, and applicable rules and regulations governed by the Reserve Bank of India (RBI) for online financial transactions.

1. Information We Collect via ERP

Our academic ERP software processes information necessary to maintain administrative, financial, and academic life cycles. We collect and process data pertaining to students, parents, and guardians strictly as required by relevant educational governing bodies, statutory authorities, and the legitimate institutional interests of managing academic operations, tracking enrollment, and ensuring campus security.

2. Razorpay Integration & Financial Data Security

When you make online payments for tuition fees, examination charges, or other institutional dues, the financial transaction is securely managed through our third-party payment partner, Razorpay.

            Important Security Notice: VSPM Academy of Higher Education does not capture, view, or store your sensitive financial details, including credit/debit card numbers, CVV, net banking credentials, or UPI PINs on our local ERP servers. 
        

All transactional data processing happens directly on Razorpay's secure, PCI-DSS compliant infrastructure. To facilitate payments, our ERP shares only basic transaction metadata (such as Student ID and Fee Amount) with Razorpay. 3. Purpose of Processing Data

We process your data exclusively under legal processing frameworks, user consent, or standard legitimate uses, including:

To fulfil regulatory reporting, statutory compliance, and auditing mandates issued by university affiliation bodies or government entities.
To track fee collection, process transaction receipts, and settle academic accounts.
To broadcast essential administrative alerts, academic schedules, and performance notifications.

4. Data Storage and Localization

In accordance with Indian data localisation laws and RBI directives, all student profiles managed within our ERP database and transaction logs handled through our payment gateway are processed and stored exclusively on servers located within the borders of India.

5. Your Rights Under the DPDP Act

As a data principal (or legal guardian of a minor student), you retain the right to seek summaries of personal data processed inside the ERP, request corrections to errors or out-of-date information, and raise grievances regarding non-compliance directly with our administration.
